Students Tour of Europe Aboard the S. S. Leviathan, 1924.

Collection includes two volumes; one with title of "Log of My Trip to Europe on the S. S. Leviathan" and the second with the title of "Log of My Return Trip from Europe on the S. S. Leviathan." These trips were designed for college students; a list of participants is included in each volume. Both volumes have the initials "E.M." written in them; according to the list of participants these logs may have belonged to Ella Mason from the Portia School of Law. Volumes include the name of the commander of the steamship along with names of the executive staff; a listing of common nautical terms; information about the "Greatest Ship in the World;" and a review of the tour, found in Volume 2. The journey was round trip from New York to Southampton via Cherbourg.
